On the surface, it is a simple blog dedicated to Internet marketing tips, program reviews, search engine optimization, and other topics of interest to anyone marketing on the Internet.

Beneath, it is a very powerful system that can market differently for every member, both free members and pro members.

For casual readers, it offers good marketing information and they will never realize it isn’t just another blog.

On the surface, it looks like any other blog that covers Internet marketing, but, below the surface, it is a powerful multi-user system for promoting an ever-growing list of affiliate programs, network marketing companies, list builders, traffic exchanges, safelists, autoresponders, and other tools related to online marketing.

Built into this blog is a downline builder that helps you build your teams in the programs you choose to join and promote. A sophisticated system allows members to promote the Power Blog using URLs that include their member ID. All affiliate links in the blog are dynamically generated to show that particular member’s links. This means that the links you click when I send you to the Power Blog will promote my affiliate links — even if someone else wrote the article. Likewise, an article I may write will automatically promote the programs of the member who referred a visitor to the Power Blog.

But, don’t let the marketing power of this system intimidate you. Even the newest of newbie marketers can benefit from this powerful, but easy-to-use blog.

Perhaps you want to promote just one affiliate program, such as Cognigen, SFI Marketing Group, Global Domains International, Home Income Team, or one of the many others. You can do this by joining for free, updating your affiliate ID for the program(s) of your choice, and then promoting the Power Blog using your personal referral link. If someone you refer to the blog signs up for your program, you will be their sponsor.

Obviously, in this case, your marketing efforts would be relatively inefficient. However, you are also able to refer your readers to a particular article that promotes your chosen program instead of sending them in the front door and hoping they find the company for which you are working.

However, when I started my new marketing business, I found a couple of companies I liked and joined. Both were network marketing companies.

In the succeeding months, I’ve been experimenting with ways to promote their products and services and to sponsor a few affiliates in the process.

It was earlier this year that I decided to get really serious about building my marketing team and making more money, and, in the process, to find new ways to help the fine people I sponsored make more money, too.

Most new affiliates cannot follow the path I have, because I’m comfortable with building complex websites that can attract hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Since I knew trying to teach them to do what I was doing would only be frustrating and confusing, I’ve been looking for ways to help my affiliates market their opportunity.

When I finally realized that downline builders could do just what I wanted, I jumped in and joined a bunch of them to see for myself how they worked from the inside.

I found some that were confusing and some that were very easy to use. Some are educational and others assume you already know what you’re doing.

I’ll be exploring quite a few of these downline builders and I’ll offer my view of their usefulness and value.

I don’t pretend to be an expert on recruiting downlines, so I’ll probably make some mistakes in the process. I welcome your comments, critiques, and other feedback and urge you to comment on any topics that catch your interest.
